Lonnie Malone at a young age found Christ and dedicated his life to the Lord and a life of service. His Christian principles shaped and developed his morals which led him to serve the communities through countless food and clothing drives. That activity developed his desire to end the neighborhood's homeless crisis in the city of Birmingham. He is currently an active member of Faith church in Oxmoor Valley.
Lonnie’s high school economics and government class sparked an interest in politics which has now become a passion. He attended night school at Herzing University in Homewood, AL, ultimately earning his B.S in Computer Information Systems and a B.S. in Technical Management. He has worked the last 23 years in Information Technology departments in Telecommunication, Banking, and Manufacturing.

Together they raised a daughter, Bridgette, who is 23 and married to an active serviceman, Jahmari. They are stationed in Mississippi and doing well.
